Vehicle Traffic Pattern
Important Update: Growth at Bay Creek Middle - New Car Rider Traffic Pattern
Greetings, RAM families,
Due to our recent growth, we have introduced a new Car Rider traffic pattern to ensure the safety and efficiency of drop-off and pick-up procedures. This traffic pattern will take effect on September 23, 2024. Please take note of the following significant changes:
Key Details of the New Traffic Pattern:
- Entry/Exit Directions: Enter campus from Cooper Rd. Cars exit onto Rosebud Rd.
- Designated Pick-Up/Drop-Off Zones: Please use the designated zones for dropping off and picking up students. Staff will be on hand to guide vehicles and ensure students can safely enter and exit vehicles.
- Pedestrian Safety: Always yield to pedestrians and obey speed limits within the school zone.
- Student Dismissal Change: All car riders will be dismissed to the cafeteria at 3:59 and dismissed to the car rider line. Hopefully, this will result in students getting to the line quicker once their number is posted.
Important Reminders:
- Patience is Key: The first few days of this new system may involve some delays as everyone adjusts. Please be patient, follow the new procedures, and respect the directions provided by staff.
- Car Rider Dismissal: Please remind students to look at the screen for their Car Rider number at dismissal. When it is displayed, they should exit quickly to Car Rider.
- Arrival and Dismissal Times: To help ease congestion, we suggest arriving slightly earlier or later than peak times.
We are confident this new traffic pattern will enhance our car-rider process's safety and efficiency. Your cooperation and attention to these changes are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding and support! If you have not already registered your student(s) to be a car rider for the 2024-2025 school year, please log in to MyPaymentsPlus to sign up for your Car Rider tag or use the provided QR code.
When registration is complete, you will receive an email and rearview mirror tags with the assigned Car Rider number. Your student(s) should memorize this number to help with an efficient dismissal. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact the school office.
Sincerely,
Mr. Jeremy Reily, Principal
Bay Creek Middle School
