A Letter from the Principal

Dear Bay Creek Family (fRAMily),

It is with a profound sense of "coming home" that I introduce myself to you as the new Principal of Bay Creek Middle School.

My history with this institution is both personal and long-standing. I had the distinct honor of being a member of the original faculty that opened this school in 2009. Witnessing the birth of our school’s culture and traditions provided me with a unique perspective on our mission that I carry with me to this day. Following my years in the classroom, I served as an Assistant Principal at Richards Middle School and eventually returned as your Assistant Principal here at Bay Creek—a role that allowed me to forge strong partnerships with our families and staff. Having been here at its inception, I carry a deep respect for Bay Creek’s traditions and the high standards we have set since 2009.

While my recent tenure as Principal at Jordan Middle School provided invaluable experience in executive leadership, the opportunity to return to the community where my journey began is a significant milestone. I am eager to jump in and continue the legacy that has maintained Bay Creek Middle School and to serve a community I know and respect so well.

As we embark on this next chapter together, my primary focus will be on maintaining our high standards of academic achievement while fostering a safe, inclusive, and innovative learning environment. To achieve this, I am committed to:

• Collaborative Leadership: I believe that the strongest schools are built on the foundations of open communication and partnership between educators, parents, and students.
• Academic Excellence: Utilizing data-driven strategies and supportive instructional leadership to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
• Community Continuity: Leveraging my historical knowledge of our school to honor our past achievements while strategically planning for our future growth.

Over the coming weeks, I look forward to re-establishing connections with families and the community at large. I invite you to participate in upcoming "Meet the Principal" and “Listening Tours”, where I hope to hear your perspectives on our school’s strengths and opportunities. My door is always open, and I am committed to transparent, collaborative leadership.

I am honored to serve as your principal and am energized by the work ahead. Together, we will continue to build upon the legacy of excellence that began here in 2009.
