Family Technology Resources

In GCPS, we want every family to have the tools they need to stay connected and support student learning.

Our Family Technology Resources page offers help with Chromebooks, ParentVUE, ParentSquare, reviewing grades, reporting absences, and other tools, with guides and answers to questions.

News & Announcements

Digital Learning Day on Friday, February 6

If your student has any medication in the BCMS clinic, you or an adult on the emergency check-out list must retrieve it by Wednesday, May 20. All medications not picked up by the end of the school day on Wednesday, May 20, will be discarded.

  • Please remember that the students are not allowed to transport medicine.
  • If your student participates in summer school, the clinic must be notified as soon as possible so the medication is not discarded.
  • If you have any questions, please get in touch with Ms. Melissa Whitaker at (678) 344-7570

As we move through the school year, we know some families may be preparing for new adventures or summer moves. To help make your transition as smooth as possible, we’ve outlined the steps for returning school equipment below. Following this 'Withdrawal Return Flow' ensures all devices are accounted for and helps you avoid any unexpected equipment charges. Thank you for your cooperation and for being such a vital part of the Bay Creek community.

Devices MUST be returned directly to Bay Creek.
Please do not return your device to the student's new school.

Student Withdrawals

Transfers & Moves

For students leaving Bay Creek before year-end or moving over the summer. Specific steps prevent equipment charges.

Withdrawal Return Flow: Step-by-Step

Please complete these four steps when returning equipment for a student withdrawal:

Withdrawal Return Flow

1. Return Point: The student or parent must bring the equipment to the Front Desk Reception.

2. Identification Check: The student's full name must be clearly visible on the device and/or sleeve.

3. Full Bundle Handover: Submit the Chromebook, the protective sleeve, and the power charger as a complete set.

4. Verification: Contact your Grade-Level Assistant Principal to confirm the device has been logged out of the system.

SUMMER MOVE ALERT: Devices MUST be returned to Bay Creek directly, not to the student's new school.
